Extension Care & Policies.

Styling 

  • Wait ONE week before pulling your hair up (non hidden bead methods only)

  • Extensions may be styled, curled and straightened like your own hair 

  • Brush hair several times a day to reduce tangling

  • Hold the base of the extensions when brushing

  • Avoid spraying products too close to the base of the extensions

  • Use Heat Protectant anytime you are using heat on your hair

Washing

  • I recommend washing your hair less often when wearing extensions

  • Hair Must be dried 100% at the top (attachment point) 

  • Do not leave your hair to air dry

  • Rinse/shampoo products very well from the base of the extensions

Sleeping

  • Sleep with hair in a loose braid

  • DO NOT sleep with wet hair

    • This can cause the hair to need to be replaced sooner and can lead to mold​

Pool/Beach water​

  • Apply a leave-in conditioner BEFORE swimming & rinse your extensions as soon as possible

  • Avoid getting your hair wet when swimming in the pool or ocean

  • Do not use sunscreen with AVOBENZONE. They will turn extensions pink and I cannot fix them. You will need to purchase new hair. Use MINERAL SUNSCREEN only. 

  • Tie your hair up to avoid contact with sunscreen

POLICIES

  • Hair used must be purchased through me

  • You are required to purchase products recommended by me or available through The Nest Salon in order to maintain your warranty.

  • If you notice excess tangling or hair shed, please contact me. The extensions will shorten over time.

  • Do not Pull on or play with the extensions. If any unraveling occurs, please contact me as soon as possible.

  • New Extension clients require a $400 NON REFUNDABLE Retainer (no exceptions) to secure your agreed upon appointment. This retainer will be applied towards your total on the day of installation. Cancellation of appointment will lead to forfeiting the retainer amount. 

  • Extensions not originaly installed by me will incur a Removal Fee. 

  • I recommend replacing up to 4 pieces of handed hair at the 6MONTH mark

  • I Require the hair to be replaced no later than 12 months after your first initial purchase or if any Damage occurs to the hair.

  • All Services & Purchases are Non Refundable
